he Work to be included in the Construction Contract is generally described as: construction of a project identified as better utilization of existing space by converting some under-utilized space on the first floor of the Ada County Courthouse into a conference room, additional offices and cubicle space. In addition, the windows at the front counters will be modified so that clerks can be at eye level with the public when conducting court business. More counter space will be created for Clerk functions that are associated with passports, marriage licenses, and title searches, as more specifically detailed in the Project Manual specifications and Drawings The Base Bid will include the following work: construction of a conference room, additional offices, cubicle space, front counter window modifications, and additional counter space for Clerk functions associated with passports, marriage licenses, and title searches as described in the Project Manual entitled Bid 24047 Ada County Courthouse First Floor Remodel 2024, and as shown in the drawings included therein. Before the Construction Contract is signed, the successful Bidder must furnish performance and labor and material payment bonds in the amount of 100% of the Construction Contract amount, as allowed in Idaho Code 54-1926 Bid security in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Amount. If submitting cash or check, bid security must be hand delivered to Ada County Procurement prior to bid due date. If submitting a bidder's bond, Bidder must upload a full copy of the surety issued bid bond to Bonfire along with the Bidder's Bid Form The Board of Ada County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
