The City of Carlsbad and its subsidiary, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District (CMWD) (collectively referred to as the City), are currently seeking Statement of Qualifications (SOQs) from reputable consulting firms. These submissions may lead to the awarding of a master services agreement ("Master Services Agreement") covering various disciplines outlined in this solicitation. The City and CMWD cordially invite firms to participate in this SOQ process. These Master Agreements will facilitate the provision of top-tier architectural, engineering, and related professional services across a spectrum of needs. b. For the estimated contract award amounts and discipline descriptions, please refer to the Discipline Categories and Intended Contract Awards Chart. c. The anticipated commencement of work is approximately December 1, 2024, with a proposed duration of three (3) years. However, the City and CMWD retain the option to extend the Master Services Agreement for up to two (2) additional one-year periods, or parts thereof, subject to authorization by the City Manager/Executive Manager. d. City and CMWD do not guarantee, either expressly or by implication, that any work or services will be awarded as a result of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). e. Contractor Evaluations. Work performed under a Master Services Agreement may be subject to the city's contractor evaluation program. Prior to release of any task orders, the Contractor will be notified of program requirements, and will receive a copy of the evaluation criteria and process.
