Asphalt Re Surfacing and Sealing for School Sites The Contractor shall remove the existing asphalt and undercut the areas to receive 4" of stone base and 2" of asphalt OR the Contractor shall crack fill and seal coat the existing areas as shown on the attached drawing. The areas are to be re-stripped per the original layout. All areas are to be prepared to receive seal coating. There will not be a Pre-Bid Conference for the project. The Contractor may visit the project sites on their own, just check in at the main office first. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. Requirements for bidding this project are as follows: 1. Three references from previously satisfied commercial customers. 2. Furnish NC License Number (G.S. Chapter 87 establishes licensing requirements for general, plumbing, heating, electrical, and refrigeration contractors for construction projects costing $30,000 or more). 3. Insurance The Contractor shall provide, as required by law, insurance for his employees. The Cumberland County Schools assumes no liability for injuries or accidents related to the Contractual Agreement. The Contractor shall furnish a certificate to the Owner (Cumberland County Schools) as a Proof of Coverage.
