Site work and paving for a municipal facility in Church Creek, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility; and for paving for a municipal facility.

This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc., necessary to re-surface a gravel road and parking area located at Church Creek Forestry Office located at 4329 Golden Hill Road, Church Creek, Dorchester County, MD 21622. a. Remove approximately 744 SY of existing gravel/broken asphalt to a depth of 4", and compact existing aggregate base, up to desired grade. b. Add CR-6 to aggregate base where necessary. CR-6 will be calculated under Unit Price #2. c. Grade and Compact approximately 1,658 SY of aggregate base. d. Proof-roll approximately 1,658 SY of existing compacted aggregate base. e. Patch areas of inadequate base materials with CR-6, to be calculated under f. Install Approximately 1,658 SY of 2 inches of asphalt base on the existing compacted aggregate base. g. Install Approximately 1,658 SY of 2 inches of asphalt surface mix, providing an even and smooth transition to the existing roadway entrance. h. Grade Shoulders of the roadways and install CR-6 providing adequate drainage away from the paved surface. CR-6 shall be calculated under Unit Price #2. The Contractor agrees that the price will be firm for a time period of ninety (90) calendar days from the bid opening date to execution of the contract by the State. The work shall be completed within 60 calendar days from the date of notice to proceed. If the work is not completed within the time period specified, the contractor will be liable for liquidated damages of 150.00 per calendar day as specified in the "General Conditions". The basis of award will be to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder submitting the lowest Base Bid amount excluding any alternates not awarded. All Unit Prices listed will be evaluated and awarded.
