The City of Ontario is seeking to partner with a local vendor(s) to provide swimming pool chemicals as specified in this Bid. Other Details Bidder should review the attached sample "Goods and Services" Agreement which will be required along with a current W-9, City Business License and Insurance Certificate (insurance requirements are stated in the agreement). Notes The City will only consider bids that have been transmitted successfully and have been issued an online confirmation number with a time stamp from the Bid Management System indicating that bid was submitted successfully. Transmission of bids by any other means will not be accepted. Bidder shall be solely responsible for informing itself with respect to the proper utilization of the bid management system, for ensuring the capability of their computer system to upload the required documents, and for the stability of their internet service. Failure of the bidder to successfully submit an electronic bid shall be at the bidder's sole risk and no relief will be given for late and/or improperly submitted bids. Neither the City, nor online, makes any guarantee as to the timely availability of assistance, or assurance that any given problem will be resolved by the bid submission deadline. The City reserves the right to order more, less, or no items at the "per unit cost" stated in the bid proposal. The City reserves the right to award its total requirements to one bidder, or to apportion those requirements among several Bidders as the City may deem to be in its best interests. Quantities listed are annual estimates only and not indicative of a guaranteed level of usage. Any items not listed on this bid shall be purchased at equivalent category discount. Although price is a factor in selection of supplier(s), award may not be made strictly on the basis of low bid. The City reserves the right to waive any immaterial irregularity in any bid if it is determined to be in the best interest of the City to do so.
