2024 Watermain Improvements. GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The project entails the following: Investigation and replacement of approximately 900 LF of lead service lines on So. Fifth and Essex Streets. The scope of services will include installation of 2 new hydrants. Work shall also include roadway pavement restorations with Hot Mixed Asphalt, within the project limits Bid Security: Bid Security is Required in an Amount of Not Less Than Ten Percent (10%) of the Total Amount of the Bid, but Not in Excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) Consent of Surety: Certificate From a Surety Company is Required Indicating Consent to Be Bound as Surety and Guarantor for Performance Required Under the Contract Documents. All work required for Substantial Completion of the project shall be completed on or before July July 15, 2024. The entire work of the project shall be completed on or before August 1, 2024. All work required for Substantial Completion of the project shall be in 60 Calendar Days. The entire work of the project shall be completed in 70 Calendar days Bid Submission Procedures: Bids Must Be Submitted on the Bid Form Contained in the Contract Documents and Must Be Enclosed in a Sealed Envelope Plainly Marked on the Outside With the Name of the Project and the Name and Address of the Bidder.
