Site work for a water / sewer project in Charleston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Work to be performed consists of approximately 18,500 linear feet of water main consisting of 36-inch, 30-inch, 24-inch, 16-inch, 12-inch, 8-inch and 6-inch DIP in both Charleston County and the City of Charleston predominantly within private easements. The project also includes 2,500 linear feet of 42-inch Horizontal Direction Drill and 950 linear feet of 54-inch steel casing by Bore and Jack, reconnecting existing water services, restoring the right-of-way as necessary, and all associated appurtenances. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid for the completed work. Both a Performance Bond and a labor and materials Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to at least one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Bid for the completed work, will be required of the successful Bidder concurrent with execution of the contract. The Commissioners of Public Works reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and any part of a Bid, and to waive informalities and technicalities in the Bid. Question Deadline 05/29/2025
