Renovation work in the Dockside Dining Hall, located in the Link Building of Saint Mary's University, Halifax, Nova Scotia. The selected removals include demolition of some partitions, wall finishing, finish flooring, millwork, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, etc.; The addition of new millwork, selective equipment (supply, installation, and commissioning), selective finish flooring, miscellaneous accessories, modified and new mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems, and site work. Refer to the bid specifications and drawings for the detailed requirements of this project. TIMELINE: Tender from general contractors issued in spring 2024 was subsequently cancelled by the owner. The owner has selected a contractor through an invited competitive bid process as the budget was far below the Public Bid Threshold; further details will not be released for publication. Construction is in progress. *Cost is unreleased.
