Work must be completed by August 1st,2024 or negotiated date pending supplies and contractor availability. Security may be certified check, bank draft irrevocable bank letter or credit or surety bond. All bidders must be bondable and shall include in the Proposal the cost of furnishing Labor and Material Payment and Performance bonds each in the payable amount of 100% of the proposed bidding sum. The bonds shall hold Ovid-Elsie Area Schools as the oblige. A surety authorized by the State of Michigan must issue bonds. The surety must be listed on the current Federal Register or have an A. M. Best rating of B+ or better. Failure to meet these requirements will be cause for rejection of the bond.
