**As of July 15 , 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. The Project is expected to be awarded Soonest we could award is August 2.** The scope of the Work for this project is the re-roofing of the Kedron Fieldhouse & Aquatic Center. The existing roof will remain in place but be covered with standing-seam metal roof panels and sub-framing supports. The work will also include selective demolition and replacement of flashing, trim, fascia, rakes, gutter, downspouts, and accessories. Refer to the contract documents for a complete description of the required Work. This contract is ARPA funded. Each Bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount of 5%. The contract will be awarded to the low, responsive, and responsible bidder with reservation of right to reject all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn by Bidders for 60 days following opening of the bids. The project shall be Substantially Complete within 180 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed of the contract. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed in the amount of $200 per day for each calendar day required to achieve Substantial Completion. The project shall be Final Complete within 30 calendar days beyond Substantial Completion. The City of Peachtree City provides assurances to Bidder that all anticipated Federal, State, and Local Permits along with anticipated Rights of Way and Easements have been obtained or will be obtained by N/A . The City of Peachtree City will not accept pre-bid project questions within a period of 120 hours prior to the advertised time for opening bids, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Peachtree City Legal Holidays. Agreement will require a Payment Bond in the amount of 110%, and a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the project cost. The City of Peachtree City reserves the right to bid a project in phases and award the contract on the phases it deems to be in the City's best interest.
