A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The State University Construction Fund (SUCF) is seeking Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Renovate Global Center - East 54th Street project at the State University of New York, System Administration in Manhattan. Global consists of a five-story building on East 55th Street and a five-story building on East 54th Street. The buildings are connected by a two-story building with a roof terrace. The project is to renovate the East 54th Street building. The upper three floors of the East 54th Street building originally housed apartments. The interior finishes of these floors were removed in a previous project. The project is a comprehensive renovation of 9,300 square feet of the upper three floors and minor renovation on the other two floors. The former apartment space will be converted into commercial conference space. The renovation will include stabilizing the structure, hazardous materials abatement, insulating the exterior walls, furring and sheet rock, ceiling & floor finishes, toilet rooms, MEP & FP, and telecommunications. A stair, lift to the rooftop terrace, and an elevator will be included in the renovation. The project will also include restoration of the masonry exterior and replacement of the windows and roof.
