Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Metter, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work to be performed includes the renovation of two downtown parks within the City of Metter, Georgia. Specifically, this project includes the following: o Demolishing/repaving parking lots, installing brick paver sidewalks, landscaping, irrigation, constructing gazebo and various other improvements as shown on the construction plans. All work shall be completed within 160 days from the Notice to Proceed, which is expected within 10 days of the bid opening. Project scheduling, coordination requirements, minority participation, and questions of interpretation will be addressed at this time. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form included hereto and shall be secured by a surety company, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to at least 10% of the amount of the bid. A contract performance and payment bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding.
