The Project includes the following Work: Construction of Commercial Street Improvements. The project is located on Commercial Street from Salubria Rd. to the City's Well No. 2 site north of McKinley Ave. The project includes the reconstruction of Commercial Street within project limits. The total length of the proposed improvements is approximately 3,200 feet with 18-foot to 20-foot wide asphalt sections and related items as specified in the plans and contract documents. Est. Value: $ 1,460,000.00 The Project has an expected duration of 180 days. A. This section includes the furnishing of all labor and materials to complete the work indicated and/or as specified herein and is intended to include responsibility for all items which are not a part of any other section of the specification. B. All work will be performed under a single contract. The work generally includes but is not limited to: 1. Removal of existing asphalt and gravel. 2. Asphalt and gravel restoration. 3. Pavement stop bars. 4. Retain and protect existing site utilities and features. 5. Related improvements. C. As necessary for completion of work, Contractor shall provide asphalt and gravel surface restoration, retaining and protecting recently constructed 8-inch water main with associated water meters and hydrant, sanitary sewer, storm drains, existing power poles and site features, and miscellaneous itemsrequired within the improvement areas. D. The removed existing concrete, asphalt, and related items are to be removed and disposed of by the Contractor in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. E. Contractor shall furnish all equipment necessary, provide all quality control monitoring, testing, and reporting as required by the specification sections of the contract documents. F. The current edition of the Idaho Standards for Public Works Construction (ISPWC) isto be adhered to throughout this project. Contractor shall keep a copy of the latest version of the ISPWC at the project site at all times during construction. G. The Contractor shall obtain all necessary permits. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for all other permits. A. The work of this section consists of submittal requirements before, during and post construction Work—The entire construction or the various separately identifiable parts thereof required to be provided under the Contract Documents. Work includes and isthe result of performing or providing all labor, services, and documentation necessary to produce such construction; furnishing, installing, and incorporating all materials and equipment into such construction; and may include related services such astesting, start-up, and commissioning, all as required by the Contract Documents.
