A market survey is being conducted to determine if there are a reasonable number of interested small business concerns to set this future project aside for them. This Design-Bid-Build contract will be for the construction of a 600-member Army Reserve Center (ARC) on Dobbins Air Reserve Base (ARB), Georgia. Primary facilities include construction of an 82,427 square foot ARC training building, an 8,346 square foot vehicle maintenance shop (VMS), and a 3,500 square foot unheated storage building. Building designs will comply with the Army Reserve Design Guide and include heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, information systems, fire protection and alarm systems, intrusion detection system, and energy monitoring control systems connection. Supporting facilities include land clearing, paving, walks, curbs, gutters, concrete aprons, landscaping, signage, vehicle wash rack/platform, bi-level equipment loading ramp, fencing, general site improvements and privatized utility connections for electrical distribution, natural gas, water, and wastewater systems. Sustainability, energy, and cyber security measures will be provided as will furnishings, equipment, and accessibility for the disabled. Force protection physical security measures will be incorporated into the design including maximum standoff distances from roads, parking areas and vehicle unloading areas. Facilities will be designed to a minimum life of 40 years in accordance with DoD's Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-02 including energy efficiencies, building envelope and integrated building systems performance. Contract duration is estimated at 1096 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $25,000,000 and $100,000,000. NAICS code is 236220.
