Reference Number 0000269354 The University of Ottawa ("University") has issued this Request for Proposal ("RFP") to solicit proposals from qualified and experienced consultants ("Proponents") that can provide Client Advocate services on the STEM Base-Building Upgrade Project. The base-building systems in uO's STEM building are inadequate to service the needs of the entire space. uO'has procured the services of a Prime Consultant (PC) to supply services needed to design a solution to successfully upgrade the Mechanical and Electrical systems in STEM building, where such upgrades will increase the building ventilation and cooling capacity sufficiently to occupy the entire STEM building and support the programmatic requirements that are planned for the 5th and 6th floor. The requirements for this RFP consist of fulfilling the role of Client Advocate (CA) which involves the review of all project deliverables for general conformance and providing guidance, to ensure the PC's design is fit for purpose, and the Owner's needs are met. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
