Hydrotechnical upgrades at the Candle Lake Control Structure. Summarized at a high level, the scope includes: - retrofit hydraulic jump stilling basin including all appurtenances and related reports and analyses; - replacement of the existing radial gates; - public Interaction Around Dam (PIAD) elements such as signage, fencing, and debris/safety booms; and - sizing and minimum requirements for cofferdams and diversion channels. The Candle Lake Control Structure is located on the southeast corner of Candle Lake near the Minowukaw campground within Candle Lake Provincial Park. Candle Lake is approximately 80 kilometres northeast of the City of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Tender and construction timing may be confirmed late 2025/2026. *Budget is unreleased.
