Site work for a water / sewer project in Candle Lake, Saskatchewan. Design plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Hydrotechnical upgrades at the Candle Lake Control Structure. Scope to include: retrofit hydraulic jump stilling basin including all appurtenances; replacement of the existing radial gates; public Interaction Around Dam (PIAD) elements such as signage, fencing, and debris/safety booms; and sizing and minimum requirements for cofferdams and diversion channels. The Candle Lake Control Structure is located on the southeast corner of Candle Lake near the Minowukaw campground within Candle Lake Provincial Park. Candle Lake is approximately 80 kilometres northeast of the City of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. TIMELINE: Project is in design. Project is under review through Transport Canada's - Navigation Protection Program Registry. Tender and construction are not anticipated prior to 2029. Further update early 2027.
