New construction and renovation of a water / sewer project in Grand Bend, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 11,172-square-foot, two-story above grade water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

As of October 31, 2015 this project has been awarded to the following contractors: D. Grant Construction Limited Nith Valley Construction Zehr Construction Hayman Construction Inc. Corebuild Construction Ltd. ASCO Construction (Toronto) Ltd. The Corporation of the City of London (the City) is acting in it’s capacity as the administering municipality on behalf of, and under the direction of, the Board of Management for the Lake Huron Primary Water Supply System (hereinafter referred to as LHPWSS, the Board, or the Owner). Any reference to the City in this or related documents refers to the City in its acting capacity only. LHPWSS is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) to solicit responses from interested, qualified, General Contractor construction companies who have the minimum level of experience and competency required to successfully undertake the construction of the new administration building at the Lake Huron Water Treatment Plant (WTP), located at 71155 Bluewater Highway, in the Municipality of South Huron, Huron County, Ontario. This is the first of a two-stage process. Only Successful Respondents, identified through this RFPQ process, will be invited to participate in the second Request for Tender (RFT) stage. The second stage will be a RFT for the building construction and associated site modifications. This RFT is expected to be issued in early 2026.
