Renovation of a medical facility in Mission, British Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
This Invitation to Tender is being issued by the Health Organization for the following project at Mission Memorial Hospital: This Project is to renovate and expand the Emergency department to return the space to a functioning state post flood, address existing spatial and workflow challenges and to better align operations and processes with the Emergency Network Model of Care (MOC). Phase 1: Renovation to the area that was the existing Emergency Department Phase 1b: Renovation of the kitchen area on level 1 to accommodate a new coffee shop / cafeteria Phase 1 and 1b to commence concurrently Phase 2: Expansion of the Emergency Department into the coffee shop and other adjacent areas. Renovation to decontamination shower and exterior drainage. Renovations within project boundary Renovations, modifications, and additions to utilities and facilities serving the ED (communications cabling and switches, mechanical roof top units, electrical distribution, and panels.) Hazardous materials abatement within the project boundary Relocate displaced retail food services to Lower level A New Anteroom for the Trauma room and a new Anteroom for the Airborne isolation room.
