The Project includes the following Work: Floyd Hill Parking Area improvements to include site grading, drainage improvements and parking area/road surfacing. The Floyd Hill Parking Area is an existing unpaved parking area located on the north side of I-70 near the intersection of Hwy 40 and Homestead Road. The parking area is addressed as 37897 Hwy 40. Work is to include the removal of the existing asphalt pavement access road surface and replacement with a designed asphalt pavement road surface, regrading and surfacing of the parking area(s), construction of drainage swale(s), installation of drainage culverts, and construction of an extended detention basin. Base bids are to include the work associated with the North Lot, roadway and detention basin. A bid alternative is to include the work associated with the South Lot. Work associated with the base bid and bid alternative is defined in the plans and bid form.
