Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of four parts: (a) Part 1 - City Funded Work; (b) Part 2 - Manitoba Hydro Funded Work; (c) Part 3 - Winnipeg Transit Funded Work; and (d) Part 4 - Day Street Work - Pandora Avenue to Ravelston Avenue. Part 1 - City Funded Work shall consist of: (a) Pavement Reconstruction: (i) Kanata Street from Ravelston Avenue East to Pandora Avenue East; (ii) Wabasha Street from Regent Avenue East to Pandora Ave East; and (iii) Wynford Drive Alley from Ainsdale Way to Wynford Drive; (b) Pavement Rehabilitation: (i) Howard Kendel Place from McLellan Drive to the end of Howard Kendel Place; (ii) McMahon Place from McLellan Drive to the end of McMahon Place; (iii) Kern Drive from Kanata Street to Roanoke Street; (iv) Melrose Avenue East from Leola Street to the end of Melrose Avenue East; and (v) Roanoke Street from Melrose Avenue East to Pandora Avenue East. Part 2 - Manitoba Hydro Funded Work shall consist of: (a) Street Lighting and Associated Works: (i) Kanata Street from Ravelston Avenue East to Pandora Avenue East; (ii) Wabasha Street from Regent Avenue East to Pandora Ave East; and (iii) Day Street from Ravelston Avenue East to Pandora Avenue. Part 3 - Winnipeg Transit Funded Work shall consist of: (a) Transit stop upgrades at: (i) Wabasha Street at Regent Avenue; and (ii) Wabasha Street at Pandora Avenue. Part 4 - Day Street Work shall consist of: (a) Day Street bike lanes work from Pandora Avenue to Ravelston Avenue; and (b) Traffic signals work at Day Street at Regent Avenue. The Kanata Street watermain will be renewed from Ravelston Avenue East to Regent Avenue East by the City with a targeted substantial completion date of June 28, 2024. The Bidder shall include in their Bid Submission Bid security in the form of a digital Bid bond, in the amount of at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price, and agreement to bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba. The Contractor shall provide and maintain the performance bond and the labour and material payment bond until the expiration of the warranty period in the form of: (a) a performance bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the form attached to these Supplemental Conditions (Form H1: Performance Bond), in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price; and b) a labour and material payment bond of a company registered to conduct the business of a surety in Manitoba, in the form attached to these Supplemental Conditions (Form H2: Labour and Material Payment Bond), in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the Contract Price.
