We seek a proven, high-performing Proponent with management and technical staff and significant and genuine corporate commitment to sustainability that can work with us to achieve the sustainable waste and recycling objectives detailed in this RFP. a) The College is seeking a qualified Proponent to provide Sustainable Materials Management Services from all facilities, and help the College implement best practices to prevent, reduce, re-use, recycle and lastly dispose of waste materials. b) Seneca is not interested in incineration as part of any waste management solution. c) The College is seeking a vendor that prioritizes employment for equity seeking groups (including, but not limited to, women, Aboriginal people, racial minorities, persons with disabilities, newcomers and Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer, Two-spirit [LGBTQ2S] communities) and provides a living wage to employees.
