Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The City of Raleigh is soliciting Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) from construction management at risk (CMAR) firms with expertise in the construction of park community centers, art centers, art studios, or similar buildings. CMAR services include but are not limited to pre-construction and construction phase services for improvements to Sertoma Arts Center located within Shelley Lake Park, located at 1400 W. Millbrook Rd. Raleigh NC, 27612. The Sertoma Arts Center Improvements Project will include a renovation and expansion of the existing art center to address building improvement needs and growing programming demands. Sustainability practices will include Electric Vehicle charging stations, green stormwater infrastructure, and LEED silver certification. The project is expected to include, but not be limited to the following: a. Community outreach and engagement b. Renovate the existing building and expand with an addition c. Site: ADA improvements, fire line and potentially other utility improvements d. Plumbing: replacement of domestic water, sanitary sewer and hot water systems, replacement of all plumbing fixtures e. Fire Protection / Fire Alarm: sprinkler system replacement, installation of new fire alarm system f. Mechanical: Replacement/expansion of HVAC system g. Electrical: replace existing electrical distribution equipment including replacement of the branch wiring and devices; replace existing lighting fixtures with energy efficient LED fixtures. h. Telecommunications: adding dedicated telecommunications closet. Provide wireless access points (WAPs) throughout the facility for staff and public use. AV technology to support hybrid meetings. i. Building Automation System (BAS) - for HVAC, security access, video surveillance solutions and lighting controls. j. COR Site Plan Tier One k. COR non-residential review l. COR Stormwater Conveyance As-Built Submittal Checklist m. COR Tree Impact permitting, if applicable n. NC DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control, if applicable o.
