Project 1: Repave 10th Avenue 968th Street east to easterly driveway of auto salvage facility. Total project length approximately 2640 feet. Project is to include the following: 1. Placement of asphaltic pavement, 2.5" compacted thickness, 20 feet wide. Approximately 920 tons required. 2. 2 feet wide crushed limestone shoulders compacted. Approximately, 250 tons of gravel required. 3. Milling of joints at east end of project. Approximately, 20 linear feet. Incidental to Item 1. Project 2: Excavate and Repave 850th Street from State Highway 85 North 1/2 Mile. Total project length approximately 2640 feet. 1. Pulverization of existing pavement. Approximately 550 square yards. 2. Preparation of roadway subgrade. Salvage of base course and fragmented pavement. Lump sum bid required for this item. 3. Crushed limestone base course added to create a total thickness of 6 inches of base course, compacted. Salvaged base course to be used if possible. Approximately, 1600 tons required. 4. Machine compaction, watering, and fine grading of road base. Incidental to Item 3. 5. Placement of asphaltic pavement, 2.5" compacted thickness, 20 feet wide. Total project length approximately 3550 feet. 1. Crack fill all existing cracks using routing and elastomeric sealant. 2. Chip seal using emulsified binder. 3. Assume a lump sum bid for this project.
