The Project contemplated will provide Holley Navarre Water System a new reuse water force main and provisions to convey reclaimed water to the existing Eglin RIBs facility. Considerations for a pump station that is rated for 3.0 mgd and has the capability to be expanded in the future is also included within this Project. The major items of the Work to be performed as part of this Project includes: Preparation and submission of submittals for review and approval. Surveying and existing utility mapping. Obtaining construction storm water permit from the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, implementation of a construction best management practices plan (CBMPP) for erosion and sediment control, monitoring and maintenance of the erosion control measures. Preparation of a traffic control plan and coordination of work with FDOT. Installation of a force main using various methods to include open cut, horizontal directional drilling, jack and boring, and/or pipe bursting. Installation of air release/vacuum release valves, isolation valves, and manholes. Restoration to include paving, grassing and stabilization. System startup and performance testing. Construction of a new reuse water pump station. Preparation of record drawings for the pump station and the force main. The Work will be completed in all respects within 420 calendar days from the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Questions regarding the Contract Documents must be submitted electronically to JACOBS through Seth Tatman no later than 4:00 p.m. CDT, May, 28 2024 in order for responses to be provided via addendum. Owner's right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents.
