Saving Project...

This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Humble, Texas. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

Humble ISD is accepting proposals for our rolling bid for Miscellaneous Services, Repairs, Maintenance, and Installation-District Wide. The Humble Independent School District (District) is issuing a recurring Request for Proposals (RFP) for companies interested in working with the District to provide repair services, maintenance services, installation services and other miscellaneous services to assist our campuses and support departments in the day-to-day operations of our school district. The services and incidental supplies, parts and equipment that may be used under this Request for Proposal (RFP) may be funded with local, state and/or federal-aid dollars thereby requiring that the Vendor/Supplier/Contractor adhere to all pertinent federal, state and local requirements. Humble ISD is a Texas public school district serving approximately 48,000 students across forty-six campuses in grades Kindergarten through 12th. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued on a recurring or rolling basis due to the wide scope that is being covered under this multi-year RFP. The District is a fast growth district, meaning that 2,700 students were added to our attendance the 2021-2022 school year. Estimates for the next two years could increase the student population an additional 1,000 students per year. The growth in the student population, the innovative programs being offered and added, and the rapid response to curriculum and instructional needs can be challenging to support. New programs, curriculum, and after-school activities can bring new equipment, machines, and support systems that need maintenance, repairs, service and the purchase of incidentals to support all this growth. This proposal will be effective from award date through JULY 1, 2027 and will automatically be extended in one (1) year increments unless either party provides their intent to not renew. In accordance with Humble ISD policies and procedures, Humble ISD schools and/or departments are authorized to engage with "Approved Vendors" only. An Humble ISD Approved Vendor is one that has been authorized for use upon having met a set of pre-determined criteria through a formal procurement process and awarded a contract ("Contract", "Agreement", "Project", etc.) and upon approval by the Humble ISD Board of Trustees. The first step in obtaining Approved Vendor status is to respond to this solicitation and submit all required information and documentation. Upon completion of the RFP evaluation process and verification of compliance with Humble ISD's liability insurance requirements, vendors will be recommended to the Board of Trustees for contract award. Once the Humble ISD Board formally approves the selected vendor(s) for award, the Humble ISD Purchasing Department will issue a Notice of Award letter, affirming the award vendor(s) status as an Approved Vendor for this specific Request for Proposal. This is a rolling proposal and will be issued throughout the term of the award, on an as-needed basis. If your company has previously submitted and been awarded, your company will not need to respond to subsequent issues of this rolling RFP. The Humble ISD Buyer assigned to this solicitation is listed below. Questions pertaining to the solicitation process or related to the scope or the specifications contained in the RFP should be submitted via the electronic bidding portal by the deadline specified within the RFP. NO VERBAL QUESTIONS ARE RESPONDED TO. Answers to all questions received will be answered through the Questions tab of the Bid. Prospective vendors are responsible for checking the website for posted questions and answers. Humble ISD reserves the right to negotiate with any or all Proposers, accept or reject any and/or all proposals, to waive any formalities and/or irregularities, and to award contracts in the best interest of the District.
