Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project base bid includes approximately 2,000 sy of dense graded aggregate, 330 tons of Porous Paving HMA base course, 200 tons of Porous Paving HMA surface course paving for bikeways, traffic striping, traffic signage replacement, and related appurtenances on Jobstown-Juliustown Road. Each bid must be accompanied by the documents listed on the Bid Document Submission Checklist and a proposal guarantee in the form of a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Price Bid in the proposal; except that when the Total Price Bid is $200,000.00 or more, the amount of the proposal guarantee shall be $20,000.00. In no case shall the guarantee be less than $500.00. The proposal guarantee must be in the form of a bid bond, or certified check, or cashier's check or a combination thereof, and must be drawn to the order of Springfield Township and must be delivered at the place and by the hour above-named. Proposals received after the designated time shall be deemed unresponsive and shall not be opened. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27. This project is being partially funded by a FY2019 Burlington County Municipal Park Development Program grant. The Township of Springfield reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive any insignificant defect or informality in any bid should it be in the interest of the Township to do so as allowed by law.
