The purpose of this quote is to retain a qualified contractor to provide materials, equipment and labor for the West Gate Installation (Solar Powered) at Homestead Police Department . Contractor shall furnish, including, but not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, skills, tools, permitting cost, supervision as necessary for proper completion of the work and to carry out this agreement in compliance with the requirements stated or implied by these specifications (see Scope of Work). Award may not be based solely on price but also timeliness of contractor to complete scope of work in accordance with the City's schedule. West Gate (Emergency Gate) Installation on Solar Motor - Design and Construction of a Solar Operated Gate. A new gate, 'solar power operated system' will be installed on the west side of Homestead Police Department. The gate will be completely battery powered with a solar charger and not attached to an electrical grid. Contractor shall furnish, including, but not limited to, all labor, materials, equipment, skills, tools, permitting cost (if applicable), supervision, services as necessary for proper completion of the West Gate Installation at PD. The work to be performed shall include, but is not limited to the following: o CSL24UL Liftmaster Commercial Slide 24V Operator / 50ft 1500lbs #41 Chain and 1 Photo Sensor o Liftmaster 20 Watt 24V Solar Panel Kit with Bracket and 10' Cable o Liftmaster Solar Battery Harness for Solar 24V / works on New DC LA500 CSL24V CSW24V o 12V - 7 AMP Battery (2) o Concrete Pad for Motor 2x2 o V - Track - 50' o V- Track's Concrete Pad- 50' (25 front part/ 25 back part) o Radio Receiver - Multicode o Double Photo Beam- Transmitter and Receiver - To Install across of the opening o Test new unit and verify unit is operational to manufacture standards Clean, remove and dispose of all debris from site.
