Site work for a water / sewer project in Conroe, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project will construct a new Jasper well to replace the existing well. The existing well has been in service for over 60 years and the well only producing 1,000 gpm. Based on historical usage and per the latest well master plan report, this water plant needs to produce 2,000 gpm production capacity in order to keep up with current and future demands. The scope is to plug the existing well, drill a new 2,000 gpm Jasper well, construction a new MCC building, electrical, and 650 kW generator, and related works. Upgrading the pumps for this well site is part of the new Water Master Plan (W111). As of May 6, 2025, information regarding design firm and general contractor has not been released. Further details regarding construction and completion timelines have not been disclosed.
