The Spring Grove Hospital Center (SGHC) is a psychiatric facility under the State of Maryland's Maryland Department of Health (MDH), providing 24/7 care of patients and is an integral part of the mental health services delivery system. SGHC provides inpatient treatment for adults (ages 18 through senescence) (forensic admissions are over 75%) and adolescents (ages 13 through 17). The current capacity is 407 beds (397 adults and 10 adolescents) within fifteen (15) active treatment units. The SGHC is seeking the services of a contractor to provide commercial landscaping maintenance services throughout the SGHC campus. The campus is approximately 175 acres and specified areas to be served under this RFB are identified in the RFB and attachments. Term of Service: May 20, 2024, through October 31, 2024 Minority Business Enterprises Are Encouraged to Respond to this Solicitation Written questions from prospective Bidders will be accepted by the Procurement Officer and shall be submitted via eMMA to the Procurement Officer indicated in the RFB Key Information Summary Sheet. Questions are requested to be submitted no later than Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at 10:00AM EST. The Procurement Officer, based on the availability of time to research and communicate an answer, shall decide whether an answer can be given before the Bid due date.
