River Rouge Gymnasium Improvements Question Deadline: 05/20/2024 at 12:00 PM ET, All questions and Requests for Information regarding the plans and specifications will only be given consideration if sent via e-mail to Keith Russeau, AIA, The Collaborative Inc; krusseau@tc.design. Questions received less than 72 hours before the bid opening will not be answered. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid or a money order, certified check, or cashiers check in the amount of 5 percent of the bid. Upon award of the contract a 100 percent Performance Bond will be required from the successful bidder. Any and all bonds required to be furnished and delivered pursuant to the Contract shall be in conformity with the provisions of applicable laws of the State in which the Project is located. Specifically, any and all bonds required shall be issued and executed by a surety company authorized to conduct business in the State in which the Project is located and shall be acceptable to the Architect and Owner. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of thirty 30 days after bid opening. The Owner may waive any informalities and irregularities, to the extent permitted by state law, which in its opinion do not materially affect the bid document. The Owner also reserves the right to award the contract in a manner which is in the their best interest, to the extent permitted by state law.
