Site work and paving for a road / highway in Truesdale, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**Per Addendum 2 the bid date has been extended from 06/05/24 to 06/20/24** **Per Addendum 1 the bid date has been extended from 05/22/14 to 06/05/24** Approximately 580 LF of 30 ft. wide 8" thick Concrete Street, 340 LF of 26 ft. wide 6" thick concrete street, Concrete Driveways, Storm water piping & Inlets, and associated site work, utilities, etc. to be located at Smith Street, Truesdale, MO. Every request for such interpretation should be in writing addressed to: Bart Korman, 101 E Walton Warrenton, MO 63383, and to be given due consideration must be received at least five days prior to and the date fixed for the opening of bids. The project consists of grading, concrete street, storm piping, concrete drive approach replacement, erosion control, seed, mulch and all materials and actions necessary to reconstruct the street and storm drainage system, etc. The project is located on Smith Street, Truesdale, Warren County, Missouri. The project includes but is not limited to the following items, which are listed for the convenience of the Contractor, in understanding the intended "Scope of Work". 1.) Clear working area of any brush and trees necessary to perform the task of the project, the brush (if any) shall be removed from the site and properly discarded. Contractor shall not track mud or debris onto Smith Street or other roads. Excavate areas necessary or as shown on the plans, relocate cut and fill material, where necessary, to the proper place and compact all grades. Haul excess or shortage material on or off site as directed by the owner or its representative. Provide compaction testing and proof rolling as necessary. 2.) Remove existing concrete, gravel and asphalt pavement as necessary. Remove and properly discard. Asphalt below subgrade may remain as subgrade provided it is scarified and compacted to prevent a slide plane prior to aggregate base is installed. Existing broken up asphalt and gravel may be used as subgrade provided it is compacted properly. 3.) Remove old pipes and old utilities from the site and properly discard. Temporarily and then permanently, remove and relocate mailboxes per US Post Office requirement. Adjust structures such as manholes, water meters, road signs, utility boxes, etc to final grade. Remove and replace/or repair existing structures and/or objects as necessary. Relocate Boulders in project area to ensure that they are properly on Property Owner's Property when complete. 4.) Furnish and install 8" concrete (w/ fibermesh) on 6" thick compacted aggregate base on compacted sub base as shown on plans. Install curbs to match existing or as shown on plans. Match existing pavement as appropriate. Install tie bars, expansion joints & saw joints w/ sealer where the plans and details indicate. Provide material testing. 5.) Furnish and install 6" concrete (w/ fibermesh) on 4" thick compacted aggregate base on compacted sub base as shown on plans. Install curbs to match existing or as shown on plans. Match existing pavement as appropriate. Install tie bars, expansion joints & saw joints w/ sealer where the plans and details indicate. Provide material testing. 6.) Furnish and install 7" concrete (w/ fibermesh) on 4" thick compacted aggregate base on compacted sub base as shown on plans for commercial driveways. Install tie bars, expansion joints & saw joints w/ sealer where the plans and details indicate. Provide material testing. 7.) Furnish and install 6" concrete (w/ fibermesh) on 4" thick compacted aggregate base on compacted sub base as shown on plans for commercial driveways. Install tie bars, expansion joints & saw joints w/ sealer where the plans and details indicate. Provide material testing. 8.) Furnish and install 6" Thick gravel areas to match existing driveways. 23 9.) Furnish and install 36" HP Pipe as shown on plans. Connect to existing structures as necessary. Backfill properly as plans, details, specifications and manufacturer's recommendation require. 10.) Furnish and install 24" HP Pipe as shown on plans. Connect to existing structures as necessary. Backfill properly as plans, details, specifications and manufacturer's recommendation require. 11.) Furnish and install 18" HP Pipe as shown on plans. Connect to existing structures as necessary. Backfill properly as plans, details, specifications and manufacturer's recommendation require. 12.) Furnish and install 15" HP Pipe as shown on plans. Connect to existing structures as necessary. Backfill properly as plans, details, specifications and manufacturer's recommendation require. 13.) Furnish and install 12" HP Pipe as shown on plans. Connect to existing structures as necessary. Backfill properly as plans, details, specifications and manufacturer's recommendation require. 14.) Furnish and install 8" PVC Pipe as shown on plans. Connect to existing structures as necessary. Backfill properly as plans, details, specifications and manufacturer's recommendation require. 15.) Furnish and install Cast in Place or Precast Concrete Double Curb inlet as shown on plans. 16.) Furnish and install Cast in Place or Precast Concrete Single Curb inlet as shown on plans. 17.) Furnish and install Cast in Place or Precast Concrete Grated Curb inlet as shown on plans. 18.) Furnish and install Cast in Place or Precast Concrete Grated inlet as shown on plans. 19.) Furnish and install Cast in Place or Precast Concrete Storm Manhole as shown on plans. 20.) Furnish and install Inline Drain as shown on plans. 21.) Furnish and install 12" HDPE Flared End Section as shown on plans. 22.) Furnish and install Concrete Drop Structure as shown on plans. 23.) Furnish and install compacted aggregate in pipe trenches to 6" below finished surface. Trench shall be compacted in 6" maximum lifts from the bottom of the trench to the top of the trench in locations shown and necessary to prevent soil and pavement settlement as indicated on plans. 24.) Furnish and install new street signs as designated and shown on plans. 25.) Furnish and install Rip-Rap to a minimum depth of 2' at pipe discharge locations shown on plans. 26.) Furnish and install Rip-Rap to a minimum depth of 1' for bank stabilization locations shown on plans. 27.) Furnish and install 2" x 12" treated lumber as shown on plans. 28.) Furnish and install compacted aggregate berm as shown on plans. 29.) Furnish and install all labor and materials necessary a new 1" water service, tap, street crossing, compacted trench backfill, meter pit, connection to existing service line, disconnection of old tap as shown on plans and as unknown site conditions require. Evaluate 24 and Coordinate with Truesdale Public Works on extents of replacement necessary during excavation. Public Works will supply water meter for contractor installation. 30.) Stripe Pavement cross walks as shown on plans. 31.) Furnish and install temporary and permanent BMPs (Best Management Practices) to prevent silt from leaving the job site. Follow SWPPP drawing as a starting point for silt fence, silt sock, inlet protection, ditch checks, rock checks, seed, mulch, straw, etc. Inspect BMPs and log weekly and after large rain events, repair and maintain as necessary. Roto-till and harrow all disturbed areas, grade to drain, prepare soil, seed, lime and fertilize ground, apply adequate mulch, place a bond or cashier's check for one year in the amount of the seed and mulch bid. Erosion control blankets shall be utilized on all earthen surfaces that have or exceed 3:1 slopes. 32.) Provide traffic control on all roads that will be affected by construction. Provide any additional traffic control as deemed necessary by Contractor, Engineer, Inspector, City, or State to maintain safety of drivers, pedestrians, and construction workers. Allow "local traffic only" on Smith Street for as much as possible. Allow adjacent property driveway access as much as possible and coordinate closures with adjacent residents and businesses. *The value for this project is based on a financial range of $400,000 - 500,000. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
