Each bid must give the full business address of the bidder and be signed by an authorized representative. Bids by partnerships must furnish the full name of all partners and must be signed in the partnership name by one of the members of the partnership or by an authorized representative, followed by the signature and designation of the person signing. Bids by corporations must be signed in the legal name of the corporation, followed by the name of the State of Incorporation and must contain the signature and designation of the President, Secretary or other person authorized to bind the corporation in the matter. When requested by the County, satisfactory evidence of the authority of the officer signing on behalf of the corporation shall be furnished. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the time for openings of bids or the authorized postponement thereof. Any bid received after the opening of bids will not be considered. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty (60) days after the actual opening thereof. Bids containing any conditions, omissions, unexplained erasures or alterations, items not called for in the proposal form, attachment or additive information not required by the bid documents, or irregularities of any kind, may be rejected by the County. Any changes, white-outs, strike-outs, etc. on the proposal page must be clear as to meaning and initialed by the person responsible for signing the bid. The College may make such investigation as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the bidder to perform the work and the bidder shall furnish to the College all such information and data for this purpose as the College may request. The College reserves the right to reject any bids if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of such bidder, fails to satisfy the College that such bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the contract and to complete the work contemplated herein.
