The City of Sandpoint is seeking bids from qualified contractors for the Travers Park Playground & Splashpad Construction Project. The project can be summarized to include construction of a new inclusive playground with play equipment and playground protective surfacing, splash pad elements, water storage tank and irrigation pump, utilities, landscape and irrigation. A Public Works Contractor License for the State of Idaho is required to bid this work. Women, Disadvantaged, and Minority owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. Federal Procurement requirements apply to this solicitation, including Build America Buy America. Davis Bacon Wage Act requirements do not apply. 1. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment and perform all operations necessary for the completion of the work as shown on the drawings. This includes all excavation, concrete footings, installation of controller, spray features, drains, piping, sand backfill, hardware, fittings, nozzles, wiring, valves, accessories, and finishes as required, in accordance with the drawings, specifications and directions of the Owners Representatives. Alternate #2: Furnish and install Splash Pad Irrigation Booster Pump Station, and wet well.
