Supply of Lime rock Base Material shall be furnished per the following specifications Requirements of Section 911 of the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, shall be met, following the latest edition including all supplements or amendments, as it pertains to Lime rock Base. . The successful Supplier shall provide the County "Proof of" Certificate that the material supplied and delivered meets all specifications as laid down in Section 911 of the Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for the Road and Bridge Construction, latest edition. Per FDOT graduation requirements, at least 97% of the Lime rock Base Material shall pass a 3-1/2 inch sieve and at least 97% of the Lime rock Stabalized Base shall pass a 1-1/2 inch sieve. Lime rock Base Material shall be supplied by a reputable company engaged in the full time supply of this and other related materials. All bidders shall quote "per ton" delivery prices on Lime rock Base and Lime rock Stabalized Base for the following location zones (Map of zones may be found in Attachment G): 1. Orange Park 2. Green Cove Springs 3. Middelburg 4. Keystone Height Limerock Base Material will be ordered and delivered in twenty-five (25) ton lots of one or more units. The successful supplier must be capable of delivering five hundred tons of Limerock Base Material within a twenty-four (24) hour period to any of the zoned locations Workdays and hours - Normal work hours of Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. unless approved by Project Manager. Bid shall be awarded based on the lowest responsive and responsible bid of the Base Bid that best meet the needs of the County The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to award Bids/quotes/proposals which would be in the best interest of the County or reject any and all Bids/quotes/proposals.
