Written Question Deadline: June 28, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. The City is soliciting proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional consultant services for a variety of on-call landscape architecture services in support of the City's operations of the Public Services Department, the Community Development Department and the Capital Improvement Program. The City intends to enter into non-exclusive multi-year Agreements with multiple Landscape Architecture firms as deemed necessary to fulfill the City's needs. Should an award be made, the selected Proposers will each enter into a professional services agreement with the City of Laguna Hills. The City currently engages three landscape architecture firms to provide as-needed landscape architecture design, third-party plan check, horticultural consultations and construction support services on an on-call basis. The existing agreements with these firms will expire June 30, 2024, accordingly, this RFP has been issued. The City is a General Law City incorporated on December 20, 1991, and has expanded to its current boundaries with two subsequent annexations. The City covers 6.6 square miles, has 14 City parks, including one sports park and one Community Center and Sports Complex, over 300 acres of maintained landscaping and a population of approximately 31,000. The City follows a "contract model" to provide services to the community.
