Renovation of a municipal facility in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
All questions and clarifications regarding this Request for Proposal will be accepted until May 23, 2024 at noon (CT) by submitting your questions through online. The City of Iowa City is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide: Digester Gas Upgrading System DESCRIPTION A. Scope: 1. This section specifies specialty manufactured, pre-engineered, shop fabricated, pre insulated architectural metal equipment enclosures including floor, walls, roof, doors, lighting, receptacles, power panel, control panels, and HVAC equipment. 2. Transport, install, and secure to a support foundation as shown on the design drawings developed under a separate contract. 3. Provide equipment and features including lights and HVAC equipment rated for explosive environment per NFPA 820. Insulation shall be supplied by manufacturer as required to meet the specified wall and roof thermal resistances and to meet the atmospheric conditions and HVAC requirements specified herein. 4. Enclosures are to be weather-proof using heavy-duty seals to obtain leak-tight construction. 5. Fabricator to also supply and install all the monitoring equipment and instruments located inside this enclosure. 6. Fabricator to provide and install all interconnecting piping, conduits and wiring to the outdoor panels and lights. See Specification Section 26 05 00.01 for General Requirements for Electrical Work.
