This sources sought is UNRESTRICTED, all interested parties should respond. The Texas Air National Guard, 149th Fighter Wing, anticipates the solicitation and award of a Contract to provide non-personal construction services to construct a new 12,200 square foot Corrosion Control Facility located at Joint Base San Antonio - Kelly Field Annex, in accordance with applicable Federal, State and Local codes, Project Specifications, Project Drawings and Structural Interior Design. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $10,000,000 to $20,000,000 construction. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 236220. The small business size standard is $45,000,000 average annual revenue for the previous five (5) years. In accordance with FAR 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business, the Government will review the information requested in this announcement to determine the type of set-aside (if any) for this requirement. Scope of work of this Military Construction (MILCON) Project includes the construction of a 12,200 square foot building and supporting infrastructure within an active airfield. Work will include an environmentally controlled area to wash aircraft, as well as hangar space for corrosion treatment, corrosion repair, and limited paint removal/repainting. This facility also provides space for corrosion control shops which includes paint preparation and drying areas, abrasive blasting rooms, and booth for mixing and applying paint, tool storage, lockers, and administrative areas. Additionally, 1,500 square yards of airfield pavements are expected for this project. The Government will review the information requested in this announcement to determine the type of set-aside (if any) for this requirement.
