Scope of Work: The Maryland State Highway Administrations Golden Ring Maintenance Shop is soliciting a lump sum bid for the installation of seven (7) exterior and interior steel entry doors at the Golden Ring Shop. The work consists of removing seven (7) of the existing doors, frames and thresholds and installing new doors/frames and painting to match. Install new door hardware with matching lock sets to be keyed the same. The duration/term of the Contract is 2 months. All work must be completed prior to June 30, 2024. It is the responsibility of the contractor to measure rough opening and verify swing direction prior to ordering doors and to ensure that door is installed and lockable at the end of each day. All frames are to be neatly calked inside and outside to ensure an air and watertight seal using a color matched product.
