Demolition, site work and asbestos abatement for a municipal facility in Farmers Branch, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; and for asbestos abatement for a municipal facility.

This is the abatement & demolition of an existing building. It has been vacant for several years and is a make-ready project to scrape the site for future development. Scope of work is outlined below. Building – Complete building Abatement & Demolition and disposal of entirely, all conforming and compliant to any and all State procedural & notification requirements, including all MEP infrastructure above and below site, substructure to 3’ below grade [piers, footing, piles]. Site – Sawcut and remove entire building, flatwork, drives, sidewalks [leaving existing North parking lot(s)]; Rough grade site, provide SWPPP at perimeter, seeding entire site, discing, dragging and hydroseeding; Including temporary irrigation for 45 days and temp water meters; Existing trees on site to remain in place and protected where feasible. Utilities – Electricity & Water to be provided by Owner. Any questions concerning this project shall be submitted via e-mail to Nathan Beckey nbeckey@ept-re.com. Responses to all questions timely delivered will be posted to the Civcast website in the form of an addendum PRE-BID FOLLOW UP QUESTIONS DUE: 2:00 pm CST Friday | June 14, 2024; Email all questions to nbeckey@ept-re.com Said performance bond shall be a good and sufficient bond in an amount not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, as evidenced by the proposal tabulation, shall guarantee the full and faithful execution of the work and performance of the Contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and Contract documents, including any extensions thereof, and shall be issued for the protection of the Owner. The bond shall automatically adjust in amount due to any change orders approved by the City. The Contractor shall include in the unit bid prices, the cost of the Performance Bonds and shall pay for said bonds In accordance with Chapter 2253 of the Texas Government Code, payment bonds in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Contract, and upon payment of all persons supplying labor or furnishing materials, for projects with a bid amount in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00), will be required upon the forms which are a part of the Contract documents. Said payment bond shall be a good and sufficient bond in an amount not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the approximate total amount of the Contract, as evidenced by the proposal tabulation, shallguarantee the full and proper protection of all claimants supplying labor and material in the prosecution of the work provided for in said Contract. and shall be issued for the use of each claimant. The bond shall automatically adjust in amount due to any change orders approved by the City. The Contractor shall include in the unit bid prices, the cost of the Payment Bonds and shall pay for said bonds. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals in the best interest of the Owner and reserves the right to accept the bid proposal which, in its sole judgment, represents the best value to the Owner based on (1) the following selection criteria and the weighted value for those criteria; and (2) its ranking evaluation
