The original solicitation shall consist of two projects. Bore at a minimum depth of 36 inches, utilizing 2-inch HDPE and tracer wire in accordance with HDPE manufacture's and OW&G specifications. Project # 1 Florence Drive Base Bid - Approximately, 1,800 linear Feet of 2" inch HDPE with tracer wire Directional boring of all lines to include any driveway, cross streets sidewalks etc. Construction time - Liquidated damages may be negotiated during the pre-construction meeting. Project # 2 Hickory Hollow Base Bid - Approximately, 2,900 linear Feet of 2" inch HDPE Directional boring of all lines to include any driveway, cross streets sidewalks etc. All line-item amounts for the furnishing of all labor, materials HDPE pipe and tracer wire to be purchased by OW&G, approved by contractor and delivered to site, services, equipment and hand tools etc. required in conjunction and properly incidental to all work identified as Base Bid and Scope in conformance with drawing and specifications listed in this solicitation. All pricing shall include travel, mobilization, taxes, and miscellaneous fees. Onalaska Water and Gas Corp, hereafter referred to as OW&G, is accepting solicitations for an annual contract for waterline replacements as budget allows. The 2024 budget has two (2) projects earmarked, with a possibility of a 3rd project. All projects are slated to begin Spring 2024. OW&G is a non-profit corporation located in Onalaska, TX. OW&G is aware of the time and effort you expend in preparing and submitting bids. OW&G wants to make the process as easy and painless as possible so that all responsible vendors can compete for our business. Shall any one project exceed $50,000 a payment and/or performance bond may be required The initial term of this agreement shall be effective from date of award until December 31, 2024. OW&G reserves the right to renew this contract per the same terms and conditions as set forth in the resulting contract for two (2) additional one-year terms to expire December 31, 2026. On or before December 10, 2024, the awarded vendor can request in writing a cost adjustment. Then again on or before December 10, 2025, the awarded vendor can request in writing a cost adjustment. This cost adjustment with acceptance or denial is the sole decision of OW&G. Should both parties not agree the 2nd ranked bidder may be contacted and awarded the remaining term of the contract. OW&G reserves the right to terminate this contract if, in the opinion of OW&G the awarded vendor's performance is not acceptable, if the deliveries and servicing of this contract do not conform to the requirement detailed herein, or budget is not approved. OW&G has the right to terminate the contract by giving the awarded bidder thirty (30) calendar days' written notice. The awarded bidder will be compensated for the satisfactory deliveries performed before the termination date. The contract may be terminated immediately should there be any illegal or unprofessional activities alleged or otherwise, occurring or suspected to have occurred. The awarded bidder may terminate this contract by giving OW&G thirty (30) calendar days written notice. OW&G reserves the right to contact the 2nd ranked bidder and give an option to be awarded the remaining term(s) of the contract.
