Question Deadline 05/14/2024 Questions or requests for clarification of this IFB must be submitted in writing via Electronically. The County of Santa Barbara General Services, Procurement Services seeks a contractor to replace all of the ducting on top of the Isla Vista Community Center, creating a waterproof seal and maximizing the efficiency of the HVAC equipment in use. Replace all ductwork with new insulated square rooftop ducting with duct mate/TDC connections and new support brackets (2 rooftop package units). The system consists of approximately 235' of ductwork and nine (9) supply and returns. Please see Section 2.11 for Project Photographs of the area mentioned. All existing dura-blocks should be re-used to the highest extent reasonable. Sealing of all new ductwork shall be included in the scope of work and bid. All new roof penetrations must meet the current roof manufacturer's warranty. Note that the roof was replaced in 2019 and consists of a PVC membrane (i.e., elastomeric/built-up tar & gravel / etc.). Contractor to keep one unit operational at all times if deemed feasible to do so, as this is a heavily trafficked building. Contractor to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the work. Vendor must submit written questions for clarifications on this IFB via Electronically no later than Tuesday, May 14, 2024. The County will publish answers to the questions in an addendum to the IFB on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
