Summary The City of St. Petersburg invites qualified Firms to submit qualifications to provide Design-Build services at a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the design and construction of the scope items provided below for the Lift Station 88 project as determined by the City. The Design-Build Firm should have experience in the development of urban, commercial/mixed-use, architecturally cohesive lift station projects and in working with experienced design professionals specializing in the construction of lift stations and force mains. The City will utilize a progressive Design-Build delivery method. Lift Station 88 will be located within the Historic Gas Plant redevelopment district in downtown St. Petersburg, in Pinellas County. Background The City is partnering with a development company to improve the area now known as the Historic Gas Plant district. As part of this redevelopment, the City will provide a lift station and force main connection to the existing wastewater collection system. This lift station will be capable of receiving flow from a new gravity system which will serve the southeastern portion of the Historic Gas Plant district, designed and constructed by others.
