Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Florence, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a parking garage; for site work for a parking garage; and water / sewer project.
A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Florence for an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, payable without recourse to the City of Florence, AL, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Check or bid bond shall be provided as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds within 14 (fourteen)days after Notice of Award. Evidence of insurance required in the bid documents will be required at the signing of the Contract. Performance and Payment Bonds shall be from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Alabama to act as surety The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner's judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
