The work generally consists of constructing a new radio antenna tower of approximately 180-foot tall to replace two existing radio antenna towers. One tower is owned by the State and the second tower is owned by the City and County of Honolulu (City). The new and existing radio antenna towers are located near the parking lot to the Pu'u 'Ualaka'a State Wayside Park on Round Top Drive. After the new tower is constructed, the Contractor shall move all lines and antenna components from the existing City and State towers to the new tower, and then remove and dispose of the City and State towers. Campaign Contributions by State and County Contractors Prohibited. If awarded a contract in response to this solicitation, offeror agrees to comply with HRS section 11-355, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from a State and County government contractor during the term of the contract if the contractor is paid with funds appropriated by the legislative body, at any time between the execution of the contract through the completion of the contract. Bidders shall comply with all access requirements of the facility or the User Agency. Each Bidder shall bring their own flashlight and small tools that may be required to inspect the premises. Bidders and interested parties are required to sign-in at the meetings to confirm attendance.
