The Town of Chesapeake Beach (TCB) is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) for an engineering and design consulting firm to complete the design of new ADA compliant pedestrian sidewalk facilities in two locations within the Town. One facility extends from the existing sidewalk terminus at Chesapeake Beach Elementary School to "F" Street on Old Bayside Rd. The second sidewalk terminus extends South along MD 261 from CBES to the existing sidewalk just North of Chesapeake Village Boulevard. The Consultant Firms shall be proficient in the services listed in this RFP and shall bring an experienced and expert staff to the contracts as required. Firms interested in being considered must submit a complete Standard Form (SF) 330 concurrent with the technical proposal. The Town of Chesapeake Beach reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals received in response to this request and is not liable for any cost incurred by any Firm in connection with the preparation and presentation of Proposals. The TCB is seeking consultant assistance to perform the design of new ADA compliant pedestrian sidewalk facilities in two locations within the Town. One facility extends from the existing sidewalk terminus at Chesapeake Beach Elementary School to "F" Street on Old Bayside Rd. The second sidewalk terminus extends South along MD 261 from CBES to the existing sidewalk just North of Chesapeake Village Boulevard. The duration of this contract will not exceed five years. The total funding authority for the contract shall not exceed $260,000.00. The contracts will be administered by the Town of Chesapeake Beach. The contract will be funded with Federal Funds. The services of this contract are expected to be performed within the Town of Chesapeake Beach. All tasks performed under this contract must be for services as outlined in the contract scope of work and in conformance with all contract terms and conditions and payment provisions. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
