Reference Number 0000351846 Delivery Point: Fort McCoy, WI The Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML) at Colorado State University (CSU), in cooperation with Fort McCoy and the US Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Construction Engineering Research Laboratory (CERL) is requesting a Request for Proposal (RFP) be developed to support the Fort McCoy Firebreak Stabilization Demonstration Project. This support falls under Cooperative Agreement 23-CR-11221611-141 . Up to $650,000.00 is available for this total effort. The objective of this project is to demonstrate nature-based solutions for the stabilization of firebreaks along the Fort McCoy firebreak system, through the review, analysis and demonstration of stabilization techniques and technologies to reduce erosion and sedimentation resulting from the erosion of the firebreak system. We are requesting support from contractors with expertise in excavation, grading, installation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) for soil conservation, and military land rehabilitation to implement specified treatments at up to four (4) sites along the Fort McCoy North Impact Area (NIA) perimeter firebreak.
