Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Hamilton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 43,420-square-foot, two-story above grade fire / police facility; for site work for a fire / police facility; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The City is requesting submissions from Proponents who wish to be considered for the role of Construction Manager for pre-construction and construction services of the new Waterdown fire and police station under a CCDC 5B Construction Management Contract. The Project will consist of the new construction of an approximate 43,420 sf (gross area) facility on a greenfield site located at 20 Parkside Drive in Waterdown, Ontario. The new facility will include program space for both the Hamilton Fire department and Hamilton Police Services, including a 24-hour functioning fire station as well as a satellite police station. The facility will include a mechanical and electrical penthouse, and exterior amenities such as a 125 car parking lot with a fuelling station, generator, landscaping, electric vehicle charging stations as well as perimeter fencing and rolling security gates.
