Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Halfmoon Bay, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Summer Village of Jarvis Bay is seeking the services of a qualified firm or contractor to undertake the conceptual, detailed design and installation of a shoreline open space project. This area has been identified as a priority for council to improve and enhance the natural space. The existing stairways currently provide important lake front access and is a prominent feature in Jarvis Bay. The stairway provides a waterfront pedestrian connection as part of the Villages overall trail network and is used year-round. This stairway was originally constructed with wood and steel stringer material years ago.(date is unknown). Council would like to look at options to replace these stairways, in addition to looking at options to improve the overall landscape of the area. This may include tree/shrub plantings, and/or removal of the existing retaining wall. It is the intent of the Village to keep the space as natural as possible and remove the existing platform. This new initiative will establish and enhance the public space for visitors and for residents. Any landscaping options are to be included in the cost for installation. Cancelled.
