Siguenza Cove Resurfacing Project will consist of a partial reconstruction of roadway to areas on Gongora Drive and Don Carlos Drive. It will also include resurfacing a portion of River Road, Don Carlos Drive, Gongora Drive, and Siguenza Drive. Reconstruction of the roadway is to be constructed with an 8" base consisting of a 4" White Bahama Rock Base and 4" Type B-12.5 Asphaltic Base with LBR 100. All roads shall be resurfaced with 2" SP 12.5 Asphalt. The final construction limits will be determined in the field prior to beginning construction. The shoulder work identified along Siguenza Drive will be accomplished using compacted Bahama Rock material. The excavation shall be a minimum of 24" wide x 12" deep approximately 200' long. Certified White beach sand is to be used to dress any shoulders after paving operations. The roadway shall be open to at least one lane of traffic for the duration of the project. MOT plans are to be submitted to Escambia County for approval prior to commencement of the project.
