Knight Court at SH Left Turn Lane. Bid Bond: To satisfy the requirements of Local Gov't Code Section each sealed bid must contain a Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total contract price. The Bid Bonds must be executed with a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Maintenance Bond: The contractor is required to provide a maintenance bond in an amount equal to 100% of the final contract amount. Performance Bond: If the Total Bid Price is $100,000 or greater, the performance bond shall be 100% of that amount. Payment Bond: If the Total Bid Price is $50,000 or greater, the payment bond shall be 100% of that amount. Site Visit: The CITY may visit a bidder's site/facility to determine firsthand if they have the capacity, resources, and personnel to perform the work specified herein. The Contractor shall be required to provide all the necessary labor, supervision, machinery, equipment, transportation, insurance, bonds, tools, materials, and any other item(s) or resource(s) needed to replace the existing raised median with an additional left turn lane to improve traffic operations as specified herein. Scope of Work The City of Missouri City ("CITY"), Texas is soliciting sealed bids from interested bidders who can complete the construction-related work per Exhibit A Scope of Work, and in accordance with the requirements and terms and conditions specified herein.
